*Greetings from VLS Systems..!* Below is the requirement with our client and kindly review the details as below and if you feel interested in the job position please send me a copy of your updated resume along with your details.. *Job Title : Oracle DBA* *Location : Appleton, WI* *Duration : 3-6+ Months (offsite possible after 2 months)* *NEED MINIMUM 8 YEARS EXPERIENCE* The team is working on implementing a third party software package (Cover-all) that runs on Oracle and is having performance issues. The database is hosted on a Windows server. They currently don’t have an Oracle DBA on staff and need assistance in the following: · Redesign Oracle Database virtual server layout. Break out LUNS to address I/O Concerns · Build EM centralized server for maintenance, automation, alerting · Analyze database reorg needs. Plan and implement a reorg strategy · Review gather stats process. Plan and implement a long term strategy · Evaluate and recommend a backup strategy · Evaluate if the database should run a different platform (Linux, etc.) · Transition knowledge to current staff *Requirements: * · 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience · Oracle 11G experience · Experience troubleshooting application performance issues · Solve issues through database tuning (Not all app performance issues are database related) · Windows Server experience · VMware knowledge · SAN knowledge · Citrix knowledge *Thanks and Regards* James | Talent Acquisition - Manager | V.L.S Systems Inc.
