*Job Description:*

·         This position looks for a candidate who will help generate and
execute against support strategies for all data network deployments

·         Candidate must possess strong to advanced knowledge of routing /
switching, carrier and data center services MPLS, DWDM, SONET, Wireless,
Dark Fiber etc

·         Candidate will primarily act in a Tier 3 advanced support role
for the enterprise data network platforms interfacing with various support
groups while troubleshooting and correcting break fix and performance
issues

·         The candidate should have experience with and a strong knowledge
of Incident, Problem and Change processes

·         The candidate will manage Operational Break fix & support across
all platforms

·         Candidate will drive technical remediation of High Severity & Low
Severity Incidents

·         Candidate will provide direct support of Problem Management
process to include Post Mortem participation and presentations

·         Resource will help govern device remediation;

·         Manages workflow intakes; Govern Operational Resiliency
activities; Wireless and Wan/carrier support Candidate will work to achieve
operational continuity across multiple technology infrastructures Candidate
manages daily supplier performance of ITIL processes and against
operational SLA's

*Responsibilities: *

·         Tier 3 escalation resource for High Severity & Low Severity
Incident support

·         Provides support of LAN / WAN, Data Center and Carrier with
potential to branch into Wireless Mobility, DNS, DHCP, Proxy, Firewall and
Load Balancing platforms and services

·         Ensure all network environments are operating at peak performance
levels on a daily basis through use of various tools and management
platforms

·         Drive problem resolution and interact with various technology
support groups to ensure a positive customer experience and ensure
adherence to problem management process standards and guidelines Governs
Operational Resiliency, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
activities and exercises

·         Assess security vulnerabilities and provide for mitigation plans
and successful remediation of compliance findings

·         Helps develop and perform against platform life cycle management
strategies to include patching, code testing and deployment, capacity
increases / decreases, hardware upgrades and decommission activities in
support of run the engine initiatives

*Basic Qualifications:*

·         3 years of leadership experience in an operational support or
engineering capacity for medium to large enterprise networks

·         3 years of experience in all aspects of engineering or
operational support on one or more of the above platforms

·         Expert troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of various
network management platforms

·         Experience with design and configuration of data center and site
LAN technologies such as Spanning Tree and OSPF

·         Experience with design and configuration of WLAN / LAN QOS
technologies for real time integrated networks including voice and video

·         Experience designing, implementing or supporting Cisco Nexus 1,
2, 5 and 7k platforms in addition to legacy catalyst switches, GET VPN,

·         Experience with design, configuration or support of campus and
remote WLAN network solutions

·         2+ years of experience in all technical aspects of Routing /
Switching implementation and support.
