*SDET* *Location: Mounds View, MN* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Client: Medtronic* *Phone and Skype!!!!* *JOB SUMMARY: * Developer responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating solutions. Work closely with functional users to enhance and maintain queries and reports. Recommend changes in development, maintenance, system standards and processes. Provide application technical support consistent with defined service levels. Follow IT standards, procedures and methodologies for project management and system development. Communicate architecture and design tenets and ensure compliance in all relevant areas. Conduct research into leading-edge global system features and enhancements. Recommend the selection of hardware, software, and management tools. *MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * • Support of Testing applications o Maintain a productive relationship with business sponsors and end users. o Participate or lead troubleshooting initiatives for issues that arise. o Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects and testing tools. • Technical Project Support for Testing Team applications used. o Provide technical & architecture assistance to implementation teams. o Work with and advise clients in areas assigned on project needs and design. o Gather customer requirements and develop technical application documentation. o Identify and capture reporting requirements for projects. o Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. o Provide input and recommendations into the standards setting process. o Work with team to develop new solutions for process/development related problems. o Software testing for testing applications installations upgrades and patches with proper documentation. o Work with Test Leads, Testing Team and project manager to ensure successful completion of projects. o Understand and utilize IT tools, standards, and methodologies for project management, documentation, system development, and implementation. o Serve as a project team member on medium-sized technical projects. Execute plans and provide estimates of costs, project deliverables and completion dates as needed. o Communicate with customer to ensure understanding of requirements. • Strategy o Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. *Skills:* skills with HP products like Quality Center/ALM, Performance Center and Unified Function Test. Needs to have technical experience with doing upgrades, patches and installs of these applications not working with a team or others to complete this work.
