*12 Months * *This is for a financial client.* *Job Description:-* Storage Engineer to join a fast paced and growing NAS and SAN Team. This is an enterprise environment and we need two different resources. This candidate will be responsible for all aspects related to the storage infrastructure. He or she will not be in the Data Center but may have to go from time to time. He or she will be responsible for day to day administration and management of the SAN and NAS environment as well as the management of the environment’s upkeep by monitoring of all components from the applications to the raw devices and implementing the appropriate upgrades, best practices and configurations whenever necessary. This candidate must demonstrate working knowledge of operating systems, applications and servers attached to the storage infrastructure and has full expertise in storage management tools. He or she will monitor storage operations and react to incidents following the Change Management process. The Engineer must be able to designn, deploy and maintain data migration solutions across diverse storage platforms, as well as design, deploy and maintain multi-site storage replication solutions. He or she will be responsible for storage cabling, drive replacement, firmware updates, as well as providing tier 2 support to backup team.
