UX Graphic Designer Coventry, RI 12 months 5/25/2015 **No Remote Option** **Telephonic/Skype Interview for Non-Locals** My direct client is in need of a UX/UI Specialist responsible for the design, development, analysis and usability testing of B2B and B2C web portals, mobile, tablet and web applications. Must be and expert in html and css with a strong understanding of how to construct flexible designs to display across multiple browsers, screen sizes, platforms and devices. Candidate must have experienced in creating effective user interfaces that showcase the user’s ability to perform their tasks intuitively. The qualified individual will be able to develop/design graphic assets using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Flash. The Multimedia Designer will collaborate on the design, develop the deliverables, and create and maintain related development processes and standards. The ability to work flexible hours to meet tight deadlines is critical. SOFTWARE SKILLS • Photoshop CC Extended • Illustrator CC • Fireworks CC • Dreamweaver CC • HTML 5 /CSS 3.0 / LESS • JQuery • Axure, Balsamiq or similar wireframing software • JavaScript • Bootstrap 3.0 Knowledge helpful on: • Adobe Premiere Pro CC • After Effects CC • Flash Professional CC PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES UX/UI- Design and develop original web portals and applications focused on user centered design. Create screen/web page prototypes to review, gather analysis and make necessary adjustments by incorporating usability testing feedback. Ability to interpreting customer feedback into workable user friendly design solutions. Knowledge of Fluid & Responsive web/mobile design techniques. Supports Developers in development of project plans, usability flow and use. Works closely with Developers to ensure effective workflow of multiple projects. Using storyboards, builds graphical assets to support needs within Flash games. Works with video assets creation and editing. Collaborates with Multimedia Specialist to ensure audio/video quality output and proper delivery format. Leverages internal and external partnerships to identify innovations within the relevant technologies. Defines new concepts and writes solid business cases for new opportunities. Organizes and archives files for back-up and future use. Develops templates and reusable content elements to decrease development time. Researches/keeps professional skill set current as software and hardware technologies evolve. Works with team to create, update and maintain standard operating procedures. Monitors any graphical work done by consultants.
