The Data Analyst performs many of these tasks independently and communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance to standards. The Data Analyst is hands-on and completes data management assignments when necessary to meet the needs of the business. The Data Analyst is a role model and demonstrates the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others. The data analyst administration group works with application teams to develop data structures that meet the business requirements. In addition to this, the group maintains the data naming glossary, enforces naming standards, ensures metadata definitions exist for all entities and attributes, generates efficient SQL against master data entities, and profiles and analyzes data to design data models. This role also understands the data lineage throughout the entire solution and is able to create profiles for use during testing phases. *Minimum Position Qualifications: * · 7 or more years experience in system analysis, transactional and dimensional data modeling on UDB2, Oracle, and SQL Server platforms, primarily. · Solid understanding of Master Data Management principles. · Demonstrated experience gathering and translating requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models using CA Erwin data modeling tool. · Solid understanding of canonical data modeling use with an enterprise messaging framework. · Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization. · Must be able to handle multiple projects and assignments concurrently while maintaining high levels of quality and effectiveness with a minimum of supervision. · Ability to interact well in a team environment. · Passing score on a selected entry test for new hires.
