*Job Title* *: J2EE Solution Architect Duration: 8 month(s) Location: Orlando, FL* • Solution Architects assess a project’s technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Solution Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Solution Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical solution as well as robust business knowledge. This includes the Software Architect. *• Required Skills and Experience:* • You are responsible for the end-to-end architecture of a solution, including its assembly and integration into the IT architecture principles defined with the client. You define the structure of the system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. You are responsible for the management and mitigation of technical risks, ensuring that the solution services can be realistically delivered by the underlying technology components. • Certification: Technical certification e.g. Cisco, VMWare; or achieved professional certification TOGAF 9 level 1; or has / seeking IAF level 1. • Should have experience in Functional Architecture Design and Architecture Knowledge, Negotiating, Financial Analysis and Continuous (Service) Improvement. • Should be proficient in Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Technical Solution Design and Change Management. • Should have progressing knowledge in Business Analysis. *Senior Solution Architect - J2EE* • The Solution Architect will be responsible for the realization of an enterprise wide solution involving multiple applications, technologies, regions and stakeholders. • Implement architectural strategies for the application, guides development teams with technical implementation details surrounding Program level technology architecture for our client. • The Solution Architect will partner with business stakeholders and solutioning team, as well as external vendors and consulting partners, to help determine best-in-class enterprise implementation in accordance with client’s application development and operations standards. • Develop Program level effort estimates at ROM and detailed levels assessing the impacts. • The individual should act as a Subject matter Expert in architecting solutions solving organization wide business initiatives across different segments working with technology and business stakeholders. • The individual should lead architecting of solutions using J2EE/Web and related technologies to solve common problems related to multiple modules of the overall solution. (Ex: Application Security, centralized logging, messaging, REST, SOA). • Work with other client technology teams and partners to identify and support cross-business and cross-functional opportunities for collaboration, standardization and reuse of enterprise technologies. • Should be able to evaluate new products using execution model for proof of concepts and evaluate the product feasibility for the program. • Should have ability to present to executives architecture concepts and design decisions at right level. • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion. • Facilitate sessions with various teams and provide application level architecture direction. • Need to be hands-on in design activities and produce technical artifacts substantiating the solution and design approaches • Need to be hands-on in anticipating performance issues in developing solutions. • Understands high availability needs and come up with tactical and strategic solutions to meet high availability needs. • Perform other job-related duties as necessary. • The individual should have demonstrated as a Senior Solution Architect in enterprise applications with a focus on digital customer experience for a minimum of 3Years. • The individual has to be a Subject Matter Expert in one or many of these technologies. • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields. • 10+ years of J2EE programming experience • 3+ years of experience in architecting J2EE/Web/Mobile applications • 5+ years of experience in leading design activities and requirements analysis • Experience in leading estimation exercises for large program initiatives • Experience in Event Driven Architecture. • Experience with RESTful architecture and SOA architecture. • Experience in designing solutions using in industry standard open source frameworks, such as spring framework, Hibernate, Logging Frameworks, Object caching, integration patterns. • Experience in database technologies - including SQL and no SQL databases • Expertise in one or more of the J2EE containers (Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere, Weblogic) • Strong mobile application architecture and development background with modern JavaScript framework and Mobile development platform, including CCS5, HTML5, JQuery, AngularJS, Node.js. • Must have work as architect for high volume high throughput applications in the past. • Should have excellent presentation skills and ability to express conceptual and physical architecture to directors and other key strategic partners. • Experience in 'Media and Entertainment’ industry desirable • Experience in Agile methodologies and tools like VersionOne, JIRA is a plus Acha Ayyappa Sr. Technical Recruiter CODEFORCE 360 ERP & IT Services | Consulting | Development | Staffing Desk: (770) 410-7770: 375 || Email: [email protected] <[email protected]> || Gmail: [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------------ *Fax: *(770) - 410 - 7737 || www.codeforce.com <http://www.its-incorp.com/> ------------------------------------------------------------------ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
