*Position: QA Testers* *Location: Rochester, NY* *Duration: 7+ Months* Our Client is a Fortune 500 communications service provider that has grown through acquisitions over the past several years. They are in need of eight (8) QA Testers for their billing system modernization project. You will be required to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems cause and effects. In this position you will review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures. You will review and approve testing programs that address database impacts, software scenarios or usability. You will review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to research and resolve the issue. You will review and approve test schedules and strategies that align with project scope and delivery dates. Also within your responsibilities will be the review of software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks as well as participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules and potential problems.
