Role Data Analyst
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills • Experience in Tableau suite of programs • Experience in Data Visualization & Business Intelligence • Experience in SQL/Teradata & Excel VBA for data mining & manipulation • Should be able to work on Impala (Hadoop Platform) or be able to learn it fast (Going Live in June) • Owns all deliverables belonging to the assigned functional area. • Responsible for Timeliness, Quality and Productivity metrics • Coordinate with data team, Analytics team and business users to understand requirements and develop Analytical Reports • Adhere to change management processes when assisting in promoting new releases Roles and responsibility • Creating Tableau Reports and Dashboards per customer specifications • Maintaining existing Reports and Dashboards • Monitoring and tune queries and data loads (both for new and existing dashboards) • Create Tables & Data sets through SQL/Teradata • Enable automations through Excel VBA • Work on Microstrategy, I-control & other BI Tools • Work on Digital Metrics, Web/Google Analytics • Ongoing customer/analytical Reports • Sharing best practices with the BI team • Addressing user questions concerning data integrity • Develop Data Visualizations helpful in driving business decisions • Work on Tableau Server to schedule automated BI Dashboards • Data Manipulation & Data Mining using SQL/Excel/MS Access to create appropriate Sets of information/insights • Capable of identifying business solution in given scenario • Develop thought leadership in solution design and delivery • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and resolve problems in a business focused fashion • Need to pay High attention to detail • Coordinate with data team, Analytics team and business users to understand requirements and develop reports • Leverage internal horizontal teams to enhance delivery such as Automation & Quality • Work closely with Technology and Support functions • Any other working relationship identified from time to time in the organization • Network internally across regions to discover and implement best practices Work Location Eden Prairie Duration 1+ years *Thanks & Regards* *Hemendra Kumar* Insigma Inc | 1920 Association Drive Suite # 302, Reston, VA 20191 Phone: 703-468-3024 I Email: [email protected] ABOUT THIS E-MAIL: The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
