*Job Description:-* Sr. Java Developer candidates with specific experience with FIX Protocol or other e-trading tools (QuickFIX, Cameron, Cheetah). The candidate should have ample server-side experience. Any eTrading experience is a huge plus. Recent FIX Protocol experience is a must. The candidate should have experience with the entire SDLC cycle. Demonstrated use of Design Patterns is a plus. Candidates must have the ability to interact with all functional roles on the team, contribute solutions and ideas to the problem space and have very good written and oral communication skills. The candidate should also be a self-starter, highly motivated, and a solid team player but capable of working independently. *Required Skills: * 5+ years core Java 2+ years core Spring Strong background in object-oriented design and development Experience working on multi-threaded systems. Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from inception to deployment and user training Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be a self-starter and be able work well in fast paced, dynamic environment. Highly analytical, proactive and detail oriented Must be able to work effectively with clients and team members in other locations. *Desired Skills: * Experience developing and supporting order execution or real-time market data Google Protobuf experience (+, if the candidate does not have, it is OK) FIX protocol experience -----MUST HAVE Apache Camel experience (+, if the candidate does not have, it is OK) Messaging experience Linux experience (+, if the candidate does not have, it is OK) Apache Maven experience SVN or like source control.
