Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 1 year +



Need to have strong Agile experience

·        Have experience with one or more front-end frameworks (such
as Backbone, Ember, Angular, React or similar) and able to articulate an
informed opinion of each

·        Experience with Jasmine, Mocha, or similar unit testing framework

·        Solid understanding of fundamental Javascript

·        Have an active github account and at least one merged pull request
to an open source project



Required Experience & Technical Requirements

·        HARD REQUIREMENT:  Experienced Node.js developer

·        HARD REQUIREMENT:  Experienced AngularJS developer

·        Understanding of current Web Technologies currently used in the
Industry (Http protocol, Https, Html 4/5, Css 2/3, Javascript, Ajax, JSON)

·        Very strong understanding of how Browser works with HTML,
Javascript and CSS to manage (parse, render, manipulate) web pages and
cross browser compatibility issues.

·        Semantic markup, css based design and non-intrusive event handling

·        Developing MVC architecture based Single Page Applications using
framework Backbone, Meteor, Ember etc.

·        Experience with must-have Javascript libraries like JQuery,
Underscore, Moment, JQuery UI etc.

·        Experience with developing reusable UI Plugins/Components using
JQuery and JQuery Widgets

·        Understanding of how CSS works (selectors, cascading, box model)

·        Experience in writing CSS using Pre-processors like Less or SASS

·        Ability realize a given UI design as an image into a webpage built
using Html/Css

·        Design and implement efficient, reusable, intuitive, flexible,
extensible and testable Code

·        Experience Test-Driven Development (TDD) and in writing Unit Tests
which tests both Javascript Logic as well as Dom ^manipulations using
frameworks like QUnit, Jasmine, Mocha or QUnit, etc.

·        Understanding of performance tuning the web pages using various
methods like CDN, Image Sprites, Caching, Minification, Compression etc.

·        Code refactoring and optimization

·        REST architectures and the design of REST APIs

·        W3C-compliant and semantic (X)HTML and CSS3 development with an
emphasis on CSS-driven page layouts

·        AMDs to manage the dependences using RequireJS, CommonJS,
Browserify

·        Best-practices for usability and accessibility standards

·        AJAX and a solid understand of objected-oriented JavaScript design
pattern as they are applied within the context of a RESTful architecture.

·        Data in both JSON and XML formats as well as with the DOM.

·        Cross-browser compatibility.

·        Minify, CSS compilation with LESS, sprite creation and CDN
distribution for enhancing performance.

·        JVM based dynamic languages in particular, Groovy or Ruby.

·        Strong command of architectural design patterns and their
application using Java.

·        Spring MVC and the Spring Framework, familiarity with other MVC
frameworks like Struts, Tapestry or Grails would be helpful.

·        Java based MVC frameworks and server side development.

·        Perforce, Git or Subversion.

·        Mustache, handlebar or underscore template engines.
