*Please find the below requirement.* *Position: DATA OPERATIONS ANALYST * *Location: Norwalk Connecticut* *Length: 1+ year contract* *candidate needs to be local to NY/NJ/CT* *Responsibilities * • Data Operations o Monitor batch cycles, ensure SLA commitments are being met and act as the initial L3 support escalation for shared data related incidents. o Identify and resolve issues related to the collection of data from third-party vendors and back-office service providers. o Work with Information Technology staff to ensure shared data is distributed appropriately to applications that rely on such information. o Develop automation of data verifications incorporating checks for exceptions, inconsistencies, tolerance levels, business rules, and valid output. o Gather, understand, develop and implement business related data verification rules from numerous business units of shared data. • Data Quality o Monitor data maintained in the firm’s shared databases for accuracy and completeness based on definitions of what good clean data looks like. o Review and implement process improvements related to the maintenance and quality of data within specific domains. o Perform regular reviews of data output related to accounts to ensure business user expectations are met in a timely manner. o Design, develop, and present findings of complex data queries necessary to fully understand data quality issue/opportunities. o Pro actively work with business stakeholders to develop and track metrics necessary to monitor data quality. o Pro actively Log data quality issues on the data quality log and track the issue for resolution. • Metadata o Act as a key resource for developers, QA and MIT personnel in understanding data lineage and quality controls of specific subject areas. o Ensure technical assets are imported into the metadata tool on standard schedule. o Ensure that critical data elements have business/technical definitions and have end-to-end lineage mapped in the metadata system. o Provide administrative and operational support for the Metacenter tool. *Skills / experience: * • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, MIS, Statistics, or related field. • Knowledge of relational databases (Sybase, SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle) and familiarity with data conversion ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage). • SQL experience. • Knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters • Must have an understanding of common Data Quality practices and procedures. • Must have a basic understanding of investment vehicles, i.e. security classes. • Strong analytical and database reporting skills. • Experience with querying and analyzing data. • Experience working in an enterprise Data management environment preferred. • Data Quality and/or Data Quality profiling experience preferred. *Thanks & Regards,* Venu Boddupally *Active **Soft **Inc.* *|| *Accelerate Your Success || Phone: 404-496-4368 * 113 v...@activesoftinc.com www.activesoftinc.com <http://www.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.activesoftinc.com%2F&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNHcG41H--kjGyUwgLo_c8WgNoev2A> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
