Hope you are doing great… *JOB Title :** Senior Unix Systems Administrator* *Location:** Herndon, VA 20171* *Duration: 6+ Months* *AIX, TCP/IP, UNIX, Linux, DNS* · Design server architecture in accordance with best practices that provides high availability and scalability to meets the organizations current and future needs. · Administer, manage, and optimize servers running IBM AIX and Linux operating systems. This includes backups, file systems, LPAR configuration, O/S upgrades, hardware upgrades, and application software upgrades. · Manage and administer user account setup and security. · Configure, monitor, and enhance application and network system monitors to proactively detect production infrastructure issues. · Provide tier 2/3 troubleshooting of the production data center including 24x7 pager responsibilities. · Monitor and administer UNIX file systems, and allocate disk space efficiently. · Administer and maintain enterprise storage systems including multiple SAN’s and fiber channel switches.
