This position supports the integration of Internet based systems, working in partnership with the user/client community in meeting their business systems needs and assisting with the definition of the underlying site structure and architecture. *Responsibilities:* · Lead, design, code, test, document and maintain complex web applications using NET, C#, AJAX (jQuery), JavaScript, and XML · Help define web site architecture and overall site structure · Work with business users and other developers to build optimal user experiences · Research and advise on new technologies and best practices that enhance web experiences for end-users or simplify development · Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing web applications and sites · Liaise with our third party partners on hardware and software issues that affect the web site and its availability · Ensure security of all web sites and related applications · Responsible for producing and delivering high quality, fully tested applications and services on schedule, within prescribed resource limits, and in accordance with client requirements and departmental standards · Ability to do review code and provide guidance in areas of programming and architecture to meet the highest standards in software development · Acts as the technical liaison to offshore development team to apply Jewelers Mutual’s Architecture Principles (if applicable) · Effectively presents information and responds to questions from onshore and offshore team members · Ensures the quality of an implemented application and its adherence to standards and best practices · Mentors other developers in proper coding techniques, methods, standards, and processes · Estimates complexity of assigned projects; provides detailed breakdown of project tasks · Actively participates in project meetings and code reviews, as needed *Requirements:* - .NET Development - C# - HTML - CSS - MVC (4 or 5) - Model, View, Controller / Razor syntax in MVC (reading old code) - Javascript Framework or Library (Angular, Durandal, Knockout, Ember) - Jquery / bootstrap (responsive design) - WCF Service architecture and troubleshooting - Experience with many integration points (external web services, single sign-on providers, CMS, document storage, etc.) - source control (Subversion, TFS, Git, Mercurial) - MVVM - Model, View, ViewModel - Repository Pattern - Connecting front ends with back ends - Revealing Module Pattern - Javascript - Applying design patterns - Claims based authorization - Agile/Scrum experience - WCF Service architecture and troubleshooting - Experience with many integration points (external web services, single sign-on providers, CMS, document storage, etc.) - Claims based authorization - MS SQL Server - Applying design patterns - Entity Framework - SOAP / Web Services - Service Bus / Service Queuing - Web Forms - Source control / TFS - Ability to think on your feet/independently James Kumar- Director Recruiting Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
