Please go through the job description and send me your resume if you are interested so that I can arrange a call with our EVP and VP.* *Role: This is a programmer, not BI developer role. * *Location: St Louis Mo * *Duration: 1 year contract, HIB OK! * *Interview method: * · *T-SQL* Test · Based on the score – client will request a Face to face interview *(Required)* No Skype – *Face to face interview only. * § There will be an addition T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Algebra, Logic tests *onsite* with Client. These will be hand written paper tests with one hour to complete. § Client will required references and conduct background check Please see the job description below. *Please also note that the position is for stored procedure T-SQL development only.* *FUNCTION:* Responsible for developing and supporting SQL Server database solutions within both the production and development environments. *PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:* 1. Create, troubleshoot, and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions. 2. Debug and modify SSIS packages, SSRS reports, and design/configure reporting Services using RS Configuration manager. 3. Develop / support XML/XLS schemas. 4. Perform database/code migrations, and track the requests within the internal SharePoint Workflows. 1. Develop sufficient knowledge of the current IT applications/technology such that solutions meet the division’s objectives. 2. Develop and enforces division’s IT application standards. *SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED*: 1. In depth Microsoft SQL Server Database development experience. 2. Proven experience managing multiple MS SQL 2008 on large systems. 3. Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects. 4. Practical experience in monitoring and tuning databases 5. In depth hands-on experience with Transactional SQL, and stored procedures. 6. Practical experience in managing internal and external MS SQL database security. 7. Strong analytical, organizational, documentation and communications skills. 8. Experience working in a dynamic, deadline oriented environment. 9. Ability to work with and understand existing .NET and legacy applications that interact with SQL. 10. Basic understanding of Entity Framework and Team Foundation Server (TFS). *MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:* 1. College degree in computer science or related field or equivalent working experience. 2. 3-5 years of experience in developing windows and/or web based SQL applications.
