Position: Senior Quality Engineer Location: San Leandro, CA Duration: Long Term Job Description: Required Skills and Experience - Experience using Oracle Agile PLM Product Quality Module. - B.S. degree in Engineering and 7+ years of experience in a quality engineering role in a manufacturing environment. - Experience in reliability engineering (specifically testing) and new product development. - Experienced with data analysis. - Initiative, superior problem solving skills, results oriented, good decision maker, excellent analytically, extremely well organized, assertive, and a team player with situational sensibility. - Demonstrated ability to work independently. - Extensive cross-functional team experience. - History of successfully partnering with key suppliers and critical contract manufacturers to achieve objectives on time and on target to deliverables. - Customer focused. - Must have strong organization, presentation, and customer service skills. - Must have exceptional collaboration and team-building skills. - Must be a self-starter who can work independently as well as in a group. - Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project) is required. Preferred Skills and Experience - Experience with Minitab, JMP or other statistical analysis software tool. - ASQ certifications: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). - Reliability Engineering experience. - Experience with highly accelerated life testing (HALT). - Transformer manufacturing background and experience with printed circuit boards. - Experience ranging from start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies. - Ability to think and act technically and business-wise simultaneously.
