Our Partner's BI offering assists clients in building and deploying architecturally sound, evolvable enterprise-scale information and interoperability architecture, by providing expert consultants or teams. Our partner provides consultants on a consulting, and staff augmentation engagements, in contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire positions. Our partner's direct client is tasked with providing oversight, guidance, and regulatory compliance within the Capital Markets, and is dedicated to bringing integrity to the markets and confidence to investors through effective and efficient regulation, compliance, and technology-based services. We are looking for innovative and committed people to help define the client's platforms and systems. We have an immediate need for a Backend Java Developer to assist our client with the transition of a legacy system to support the conversion of legacy, currently in Pro C with DataStage to Java and then into the cloud. A successful candidate will have strong core Java experience and good SQL skills, working in Oracle (Postgres would be a plus as well). *Responsibilities:* - Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications. - Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. - Leverage industry Java best practices to design, test, implement and support a multi-tier origination Java solution Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area. - Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment. - Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner. *Requirements:* - Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. - 5-7 years' experience required. - Strong Java/J2EE development experience. - Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale, Java/J2EE projects from end-to-end. - Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, and ability to query and manipulate data using SQL (Postgres experience would be a plus). - Hands on experience in following the iterative and Agile SDLC. - Extensive knowledge and application of Java best practices along with experience with application servers and database servers. - Experience in implementing design patterns and ability to adapt to changing patterns quickly. - Experience working with Autosys or similar scheduling tools. - Knowledge of C and DataStage would be a plus. - Shell Scripting experience would be a plus. - Any exposure to cloud technologies would be a plus. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
