All hardware is remote. Knowledge and experience in the administration of large-scale web applications is a must. This position reports into the Digital Development team and will work closely with developers to solve system problems as a team to get the most out of the platform. · Monitor all server tiers for performance issues and stability concerns, and develop strategies for improving the environment. · Administer web users and hosting accounts. · Manage installations and upgrades of application and system software, troubleshooting, management and day-to-day administration. · Configuration of web servers (Apache and IIS) to ensure maximum uptime and high performance. · Work with development teams to help them understand administration issues and develop strategies to improve performance and efficiency of operations. *Skills/Experience/Education* *Mandatory:* · Three or more years of Microsoft and/or Apache Web Server administration. · Experience managing and administering Windows servers. · Experience working with Java server applications. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language. · Experience documenting / diagramming large scale production and test environments. · A strong opinion but an open mind about new technologies and processes. *Desired* Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other enterprise class content management systems. *SKILL MATRIX* *Systems Administration:* Manage installations and upgrades of application and system software, troubleshooting, management and day-to-day administration.
