*Job Title: Business Intelligence Technical Lead* *Duration: 8+ Months Location: WI* If H1B, Copy is mandatory *Description* The Department of Children and Families Business Intelligence Section is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the role of the Child Care Data Warehouse Technical Liaison. The individual in this role would be supporting the management, design, and support of multiple Child Care and Enterprise level warehouses. The individual in this role will: • Lead, Mentor, and Consult for 17 technical staff including Data Modelers, Informatica developers, Business Objects Specialists, and Dashboard/Xcelsius developers. • Work with enterprise wide business and IT senior management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. • Solve complex technical problems. • Optimize the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user. • Create testing methodology and criteria. • Design and coordinates a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of business intelligence tools to enhance business decision-making capacity. • Develop standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems and validate that standards are being met. • Develop data/information quality metrics. • Research new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise wide business intelligence solutions. Participate in special projects as required. • Have 7 to 10 years of experience with large and complex database management systems, business intelligence tools and systems. Qualification Rating *Must Have* Administration - Customer Service Problem resolution (development and implementation) * and 7 Yrs. Respond to customer requests (verbally and in writing) * and 7 Yrs. Administration - Project Management Experienced project manager or leader * and 4 Yrs. Expertise in implementation of large complicated models and processes * and 5 Yrs. Administration - Technical Writing Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation * and 7 Yrs. General Competencies Analytical/problem solving skills * 7 Yrs. Excellent oral and written communication skills * and 7 Yrs. Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills * Information Technology - Applications Ability to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures including test/use cases * and 5 Yrs. Information Technology - Databases Ability to navigate and query a relational database (Oracle) to both develop reports * and 7 Yrs. Data analysis * and 7 Yrs. Data Warehouse - Experience in data warehouse design and development * 7 Yrs. Data Warehouse - Experience in requirements gathering for data warehouse * 7 Yrs. Data Warehouse - Performance tuning * 7 Yrs. Experience in extract, transform, and load coding using Informatica * 7 Yrs. Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL * and 7 Yrs. Information Technology - Design Develop design specifications * and 7 Yrs. Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principals * 5 Yrs. Information Technology - Languages/Tools Business Objects or other BI tools * 5 Yrs.
