The feedback has been they are not strong in OBIEE or Informatica, mostly OBIA skillset, No SQL, Data warehousing skills have been basic.* *Here is feedback from a candidate interview that was reject. * • Screened a candidate today but he was not presentable since he had no DW/ETL Skills. • Too BI APPS heavy • He mentioned he’s not backend guy so cannot write SQL over the phone • He has limited experience with Informatica and currently more focused on ODI and is more comfortable with ODI • Apart from some customization, he has limited knowledge on OBIEE RPD development *Required Job Skills:* • 5+ years’ experience with Informatica and should have good knowledge of different transformations. • 5+ years’ experience with Oracle OBIEE • 5+ years’ experience with SQL • 5+ years’ experience with Oracle database *Job Description:* • Candidate should have 5+ years of experience in developing ETL mappings/workflows using Informatica • Extensive knowledge of Oracle OBIEE reporting tool • Expert knowledge of SQL • Extensive hands on experience with different transformations like - lookup, joiner, normalize, etc. • Experience in application troubleshooting and performance tuning is desired. • Understanding Data Sources; Use Data Modeling concepts to design and develop Dimensional Model for a Data Warehouse • Implementation of Data Warehousing, Data Marts, Star and Snow Flake Schema Modeling • Experience working with high volume transactions is desired. • Coordinate integration/system test with SIT team and provide support on user acceptance test • Must be self-motivated and dependable. Should have strong understanding of various relational databases.
