*Roles and Responsibilities*

• The SharePoint Administrator should manages all aspects of the SharePoint
environment including availability, reliability, performance, monitoring
and security of the farm.
• The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for managing the
Microsoft SharePoint infrastructure, implementing applicable system
upgrades and enhancements, provisioning user sites and access.
• Handle administration and support of existing environments and future
upgrades, apply service packs and updates within a predefined maintenance
window, and research solutions to problems related to environment
administration.
• This role requires the SharePoint Administrator to be technical through
architecture, development and administration. This person will work across
all three lines, so communication is important.
• Recognize, identify, analyze, and determine alternatives and take action
to correct problem areas.

*Additional Skills:*

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience with SharePoint Technologies (SharePoint
Server 2007/2010/2013 and Project Server 2010)
• In Depth SharePoint knowledge (i.e. SharePoint Farm Topology , Central
Administration, SharePoint Object Model, Service applications, Web
applications, Timer Jobs, ULS Logs, Workflows)
• Understand SharePoint fundamentals/features
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory , Windows Security and IIS
• Experience working with PowerShell/STSADM
• Configuring and setting up SharePoint Farm and related Services and
Service Applications
• Experience with troubleshooting SharePoint issues and fixing them
• SharePoint environment moves , SharePoint 2013 upgrade readiness,
SharePoint Upgrades (2010-2013)
• Solution assessments and discoveries
• Document Management solutions
• BI and Reporting SharePoint solutions using SSRS/SSAS
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills
