*Position:- Layer 7 API Management Consultant* *Location:- Dallas, TX* *Duration:- 6+ Months* *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *Job Description:- * · Experience with the implementation, configuration, and administration of Layer 7 API Gateway, ESM, and Portal. · This individual will be working closely with the development team, infrastructure team, and information security team to develop and document all necessary process and procedures associated with the implementation , configuration, and administration of the Layer 7 technology. · The individual will directly be leading the rollout out of the Layer 7 (we have some already deployed but will continue to deploy more). · Although experience and knowledge of using the Layer 7 technology from the perspective of a developer is great to have we expect that this individual is strong from the operational side. · They must be willing to be available to provide on-call support as an escalation to front line support. · They may be asked to hold a few off hours meeting some of our global teams as needed *They will help us to develop and document the following: * · The appropriate monitoring and alerting design · Capacity management approach for Layer 7 · The user roles and responsibility for Layer 7 · Patching and upgrade process for layer 7 · Standard configuration and security hardening for layer 7 · If the specific workload for Layer 7 is slow for a period of time we may ask the individual to perform some technical research and testing activities or other documentation work.
