*Duration: 6-12 months+ contract* *Exp Required: 10+ Years* *No. of open positions: 3* *Job Description:* Our Client is seeking the services of a Senior Database Architect with Project Management and team leadership skills. The Database Architect is an increasingly important role within an enterprise organization, as it is the natural evolution of the Data Analyst and Database designer, reflecting the emergence of Internet Web technologies requiring integration of data from different and disparate data sources. The Database Architect will work closely with the Users, systems designers and the developers on a Project team. This role will require remote management of off-shore team(s), and frequent Client interactions with their counterpart or Client key client stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role will have the following Knowledge and Experience attributes: • Data Analysis • Data Migration Tools Knowledge • Data Modeling • Data Integration • Data Warehousing • Database Design *Vision -* The Database Architect needs to be able to have an end-to-end vision, and to see how a logical design will translate into one or more physical Databases, and how the Data will flow through the successive Stages involved. He (or she) will need to be able to address issues of Data Migration (Validation, Clean-up and Mapping), and will need to understand the importance of Data Dictionaries. *Important Requirements:* *Data Architect III (Senior Data Architect):-* Designs Data Architectures. Designs and builds relational databases. Experience with Database Administration tasks: developing Microsoft SQL Server DB objects, DB server implementations, code deployments, backups, creation of DB authentication principles, system and query performance tuning. Deep understanding of and ability to use and explain all aspects of application integration in .NET and data integration with SQL Server and associated technologies and standards. Expert level knowledge in at least one and deep knowledge of the following Enterprise Server technology areas: SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Office SharePoint Server Enterprise features, and Performance Point Server. Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database. Cleans and maintains the database by removing and deleting old data. Usually requires a degree in an appropriate area and at least 5 years of experience in a related area. Ability to design and develop Databases, Data Warehouses and Multidimensional Databases. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and lateral thinking is expected.
