Job Title: SSRS Developer Location : Lincolnshire, IL Duration : 5+ Months We are looking for a SSRS Report Developer to join our expanding software organization and Enterprise Data team. This person will work closely with our business stakeholders and other software and IT team members to develop and enhance reporting capabilities and solutions using Microsoft technologies including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008 R2, and Microsoft SQL Server 2014. Specific duties include: As a SSRS Report Developer you will work with developers, business users, DBAs, and IT team members on the following: •Develop reports using Microsoft SQL Server 2014 working with business owners to gather requirements, understand business needs and work directly with end users in the development, testing and validation of the report. Develop interactive charts and dashboards using (SSRS) Reporting Services from a variety of data sources including Analysis Services Cubes, relational and non-relational databases. •Prepare and review requirements, functional specifications, technical designs and implementation documentation. •Train and/or provide SSRS/SQL guidance to others • Other duties as assigned. *Minimum Qualifications:* •Extensive experience in SQL and MS SQL Server 2012 or newer, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008 R2 report design and implementation. •Strong skills in SQL query development. • Experience with interactive dashboards, guided analytics, or self-defined presentation of data. •Experience with ad-hoc reporting design and tools. •Excellent systems analysis, organizational, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, oral and written communication skills. •Strong visual intelligence / visual analytics skills experience •Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, technically challenging environment. •Strong understanding of multi-tiered architecture and web-based applications. •Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills a must. •Experience with IFS Metrix a plus Arjun Mallik- Sr Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
