Do let me know if you have any consultants matching the skill set. *Windows Admin with MCITP Certification* *Location: Columbia, SC * *Duration: 12 Months* *Windows Admin/Troubleshooter (MCITP must) with Active Directory, GPO, networking, VMWare ESX/ESXi and project management experience* *SKILLS REQUIRED:* At least 8 years experience in Information Technology. MCITP Certification (Enterprise Administrator) required, or five years equivalent experience. Proven experience resolving problems in enterprise environments with Active Directory infrastructure issues Creating architectural documentation for AD infrastructure improvements based on industry best practices. Up to date expert level knowledge on various Microsoft Administration products lines HANDS ON experience analyzing, designing, DOCUMENTING, and deploying large scale AD environments Group Policies Experience using Microsoft products for centralized management of logging, policy changes, and software deployments Advanced in Windows Server 2012, Active Directory administration Technical knowledge of network and server operating systems Knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP, and DNS, DHCP. Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for policies, procedures, and best practices. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills a must. Able to conduct research into infrastructure issues and products as required. Leading effective team meetings Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experienced hardware troubleshooting. Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. The following product/technologies are also part of the SC DOR environment, but they are not a requirement to apply for this position. Experience in these areas would be a plus: Networking, Security, Automation, and Disaster Recovery. *SKILLS PREFERRED:* *Highly Preferred* VMware Esx Current industry certifications for Microsoft, Security, VMware, Expertise in AD security and overall windows best practices as it relates to IT security. Security expertise is a VERY important factor. Experience designing 99.9% uptime environments Experience in monitoring infrastructure systems for Windows environments Experience and working knowledge of backup products and methodologies. Ability to craft proactive and automated scripts and tools Knowledge of Virtual Machine operation, strengths, and weaknesses. Experience with VMware ESX administration Support of web-based applications for internal (intranet) sites and external (Internet) sites. Knowledge of software development lifecycles and migrations from different environments, such as development, production, etc… Experience and working knowledge of backup products and methodologies. *Preferred*: Experience with Projects operating under PMI methodology *Comments*: Feedback from the manager – I see lots of Infrastructure Project people. We are looking for people who can jump in when something is down and figure out how to get it back up. It is a little different skill set. This position won’t be installing a new network or upgrading Exchange or Active Directory. They will be responding to issues with applications that could be related to Windows Server or Network or Database or Active Directory.
