The right candidate is a natural consensus builder who operates proactively and independently, exercises impeccable judgment, and demonstrates a passion for delighting clients and growing our business. This Client focuses on strategy, design, front-end development, and usability testing of digital assets for some of the best-known brands in eCommerce. Client design, build, and test everything from apps to enterprise-level eCommerce websites that offer leading-edge Omnichannel functionality to consumers, such as same-day delivery, or ship-from-store, for example. Client also drive qualified traffic to our clients’ commerce destinations through our robust Affiliate, Display, Search and Social practice areas within our group. The ideal candidate for this role is an advanced practitioner of the Art and Science of Program Management. He/she is the operational leader with a keen eye on risk who identifies potential delivery obstacles before they arise, and applies creative problem-solving to go over, under, and around roadblocks in partnership with subject-matter experts. He/she will demonstrate measurable success effectively managing resources, scopes, and schedules to produce deliverables of utmost quality that are never, ever late. He/she should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of commonly used project management concepts, practices, and procedures and a history of successful digital agency campaign management. *Job Requirements * • Demonstrate daily a deep knowledge of every last detail of complex, multichannel *eCommerce projects* • Set tone of collaboration among practice areas within the organization, particularly Client Services and Strategy • Define and refine roles and responsibilities so that all teams have clarity on their contributions and proper process • Assign projects to team members as appropriate; balance workload on the West with East Coast senior PMs • Mentor project managers and assist them in their career-pathing efforts • Own accountability for the profitable operation of all West Coast projects in your portfolio, according to assigned financial objectives • Forecast upcoming workload and recommend staffing adjustments accordingly • Gather project documentation and capture requirements from all functional stakeholders • Lead cross-functional meetings, provide project status and drive open issues to resolution • Present status updates on portfolio of initiatives and own issue resolution for initiatives • Analyze, recommend and drive process and program improvements across functional teams • Manage project estimations and submit the appropriate resource requests for the subject-matter experts required to deliver projects successfully • Deliver approved scope of exceptional quality on time and on budget; conduct change management as necessary to meet internal business requirements • Manage project escalations as a problem-solver, applying innovative project management solutions to overcome obstacles effectively and with respect to all stakeholders • Participate in business development projects • Demonstrate a passion for learning and embrace the opportunity to learn new demand-generation channels that drive eCommerce success for our clients *Essential Skills & Experience * • 7-10 years of experience in a program and/or project management role in a digital agency, startup, or technology environment • Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively with executive leadership internally and externally • A scoping expert who leads and nimbly and promptly manages the collection of activities, deliverables, assumptions, and exclusions, and generates timelines and pricing ranges • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong communication skills. Must have the ability to gasp complex issues and translate them into easily understandable terms.
