Designed database architecture, created new database objects and wrote
composite codes for new developments, cooperated with other teams to design
a new datacenter and worked with other teams to create composite services
to support new applications.
Responsibilities:
· Upgraded the Composite servers from 5.1 to 6.2. wrote perl scripts to
compare  composite codes in different environments word by word. Fixed bugs
and incompatible issues.
· Reviewed and rewrote current composite codes to improve performance, such
as in Security Exposure module, improve performance for some major
procedures from 4 minutes to 10 seconds.
· Wrote views, package SQL, procedures, triggers in Composite servers and
published as JDBC services or WSDL;
· Transformed XML data to data or vice versa.
· Administered Composite servers, checked query plans, monitored execution
of queries, memory, connection pools and other health issues of composite
servers.
· Took part in development work of 6.2 upgrade, Coric, Security Exposure,
IFP etc.
· Migrated new development codes from DEV to UAT and PROD, use Jmeter to do
UNIT test and wrote a PubTest Java scripts to do test.

COMPOSITE  ADMINSTRATOR AND DEVELOPER
Working in the broker dealer unit of JPmorgan Chase. The bank uses
Composite Software as Enterprise Information Integration(EII) to integrate
heterogeneous data sources (DB2, Sybase, Oracle)  to support Front End
Applications. As an administrator and Developer of this EII system, I
provide supports for the DEV, QA and PROD composite servers, write
complicated views, procedures to support front end applications and do
performance tuning.
Responsibilities:
· Upgraded the Composite servers from 3.7.1 to 5.1. Fixed bugs and
incompatible issues.
· Optimized queries, rewrote views and procedures in Composite, Sybase and
DB2 databases. I systematically investigated the portals which had the
worst performance issues and rewrote their views and procedures with better
algorithm and improved their performance significantly.
· Wrote views, package SQL, procedures, triggers in Composite servers and
Sybase databases, DB2 UDB databases for new projects.
· Administered Composite servers, checked query plans, monitored execution
of queries, memory, connection pools and other health issues of composite
servers.
· Regularly checked composite server event logs, server logs etc. to fix
any issues if occurred;
· Wrote Perl scripts to Analyze transaction log files to find out long
running queries and found out the root causes of the performance issues.
· Wrote Java PubTest scripts to test composite procedures and views;
· Wrote composite procedures and triggers to transfer data among database
servers;
· Created AUTOSYS jobs on AUTOSYS servers;
· Created and designed workflows using INFORMATICA to migrate data among
DB2, Sybase and Oracle;
· Designed database architecture, created schema for Broker Deal portals
using Power Design;
· Fix and resolved several long lasting bugs.
· Provided production supports for Composite servers.
