Job Title: Agile Project Manager (Scrum) Location : Philadelphia
Duration : Long term Seeking a Project Manager to join our talented engineering team in the Technology and Product team. This group is responsible for ensuring the timely development, testing, and release of the Xfinity Home Security & Automation subscriber portal and mobile client applications with a high degree of quality that exceeds customer expectations. In this role, you will collaborate with other developers, designers, testers, product teams, business and operations managers to prepare, maintain and support the Operations Readiness for all Xhome client applications. The primary responsibilities include identify, building and maintaining operational metrics, dashboards and reporting; developing and maintaining technical documentation for operations and support teams; conducting operational readiness exercises; engaging and leading discussions with cross functional development and support teams; working with the engineering teams to understand changes in the applications and assessing their impact on production operations; preparing and delivering presentations on operational matters related to the products to peers and Executive staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in both technical and programmatic roles along with excellent verbal and written communications skills. Requirements: - 3-5 years of systems/software engineering or Operations experience in a software development or engineering environment - Experience in data analysis, reporting and dashboard generation - Experience with data analytics tools such as Splunk, Hadoop, Tableau (not a must-have) - Ability to engage cross-functional product and development team and lead discussions and contribute to production investigations and triage sessions - Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation - Experience supporting multiple technical projects simultaneously - Excellent written and verbal communication Preferred Skills: - Experience in scripting and/or software development - Experience in creating and maintaining system architecture diagrams (Rationale, OmniGraffle, System Architect, etc) - Experience working with web and/or mobile software development, QA and operations teams - Experience with Agile/Scrum - Experience with Agile project tracking software (Rally, Jira, etc) - Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel - DevOps experience - Software development experience is a plus! - Home Security and automation is a plus! - BS in Comp Science, Engineering or equivalent Arjun Mallik- Sr Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
