*Software Quality Test engineer*
Location: *Atlanta, GA*
Duration : *Long term*
Software Quality Test engineer to validate product meets acceptance
criteria using automation and manual techniques. Responsible for testing a
feature and or a small feature set. Contributes to the team and works with
direction from Senior Team Members or management. Position will require
writing test plans, test scripts, creation of automated test scripts,
performing test execution and validation, submitting defects, and reporting
on assigned projects. Individual should possess exceptional working
experience in Agile/Scrum software development teams, Selenium Webdriver
test automation best practices, Software-as-a-Service product experience
and a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere. This individual will fill a
position that will be focusing on test automation coverage for two separate
SaaS products within the same industry domain.
*Educational Requirements *
4-Year College Degree in applicable field (CS, CIS, Mathematics, etc.)
# of years of experience: *3-5+*
*Essential Duties *
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain
*Automated test scripts *- Write and maintain manual and automated test
plans and test cases based on specifications
- Contribute to enhancements in automation framework
- Assist in training as needed to maintain collaborative work environment
- Ability to contribute to design and creation of BDD testing framework
would be a plus but not required
*Experience with the following:*
- Selenium
- C# language and .NET -
- JavaScript knowledge
- SQL
- SoapUI
- XML knowledge
- Proven, hands on Selenium Webdriver experience
- Solid understanding of Page Object Model
- Github
- Git source control
- Working with a Continuous Integration Environment
- Working on an Agile/Scrum team
- Experience working in a Behavior Driven Development environment a plus
- Gherkin knowledge a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Key thing is experience with automating functional unit
tests (NOT manual. They have that.) They need testing on the software.
· Selenium is the tool they’re using.
· It’s a SCRUM shop. Want SCRUM certification (nice to have)
· Need .NET and VisualStudio.
· They use C# not Java.
· Java script is not a must have, but understanding and knowing that it’s
not Java would be good.
· Candidates can have more than 5 years experience (3 minimum)
· BDD is not a must have, but a good know.
