Role:* Application Assembly and Deployment Specialist - Java Technology Platform* location :Reston, VA Duration:Long term *Required Skills:* ·Java – Proficient (P2) ·Linux/Unix – Proficient (P2) *Additional Preferred Skills:* · Experience with Java or JavaScript development. · Experience with Jenkins, Maven (pom authoring), Sonar. · Experience using Source Control such as Git or SubVersion. · Experience with Integration development environment (IDE) like Eclipse; Jboss Development Studio (JBDS), or Spring STS. ·One of the following script language: c ·Understanding of multi-tiered architectures ·SQL and Mark Logic Development Experienced ·Operations experience performing deployments. *At least 1 year of experience of:* ·Leadership or coordination role in previous project, school or community organization, or job experience. ·Prior experience demonstrates the ability to learn and become an expert at a new technology quickly ·Technical Degree in Computer Science or MIS, or equivalent job experience. ·Prior work experience in either System Administration or Application Development. ·Experience in design and development of web applications. ·Graduate from a top tier university if at the entry level. *Additional Requirements*: ·Proven ability to work independently and as a team member ·Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills ·Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills ·Must be able to receive Federal Public Trust clearance ·Candidates must have lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. ·Candidates must be local to the Washington, D.C.
