Please go through the job description and send me your resume if you are interested so that I can arrange a call with our EVP and VP.* *C++ Developer* *Duration: 1 year contract with possible extension* *Location : DT Milwaukee, WI* *Job description, with the qualifications & responsibilities, description of work:* *Basic Function:* · Assist in the development of quality applications/systems for the Actuarial business function. · Accountable for coding, unit testing and troubleshooting business applications. · Accountable for preparing and maintaining application/systems documentation in order to facilitate knowledge sharing. *Principal Accountabilities: * · Accountable to understand functional specifications and deliver the development of quality applications/systems in order to minimize cost, support maintainability and comply with development best practices. · Accountable for coding, unit testing and maintenance of applications/systems, configuring and troubleshooting business applications. · Accountable for preparing and maintaining application/systems documentation in order to facilitate knowledge sharing. · Responsible for delivering on specifications for small or technical enhancements in order to respond to business needs as required. *REQUIREMENTS:* • Strong C/C++ skills and working knowledge of Visual Studio • Strong technical aptitude and ability to logically analyse and creatively solve issues independently • Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of VBA • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with immediate team members, other IS areas, and clients in other departments Dee Bhandari- Sr. Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
