Hi, *Position:* Performance Tester *Location:* Camp Hill, PA *Duration*: 12 months *Interview mode: Telephonic & Skype* *Visa: USC, GC and GC-EAD, TN only* *Job Description:* He/she will work on a performance testing team that will assist in a wide variety of performance testing tasks. For example, but not limited to; gathering test requirements, creating performance test plans, creating / modifying performance test scripts, executing performance tests using various load testing tools such as Rational Performance Tester/Neo Load/HP Load Runner (Preferably Neo Load), analyzing results, creating final test reports. He/she will assist more senior performance testers and performance engineers. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. *Responsibilities:* • The Performance Tester will be responsible for the execution of performance tests (load, volume, stress, capacity and scalability) that meet and exceed business requirements. • Execution of performance test scripts, and the creation of performance testing artifacts including test strategy and test plans, test cases, script preparation, unit/smoke testing, test execution, defect/issues reports, action/item reports. • Ensuring that testing meets project milestone deadlines and manages any risk to those dates. • Provides expertise on performance testing tools and capabilities. • Collaborate with other teams. • Must have a broad knowledge of performance testing methodology and tools (HP LoadRunner, Neotys NeoLoad, RPT), with an understanding of various technologies and architecture. • Should be comfortable writing simple to mid-level SQL queries. • This position requires a person who is highly skilled at handling complex technical situations and has exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Direct scripting experience employing protocols HTTP, Web Services • Desirable to have programming exposure to any/all of the following programming languages: C/C++, Java, VB, ASP, JSF and/or .NET. • Hands-on experience with performance test simulations, performance analysis, performance tuning, performance monitoring in a n-tier environment.
