*Please find the below requirement.* *Position: Quality Analyst* *Duration:12 month contract .* *Location: Torrance, CA* *Candidate MUST be able to take an in-person interview.* Seeking highly motivated, experienced senior QA testers to work in a team environment, applying mature analytical and technical experience to the system testing and quality assurance of back-end, web, mobile, and integrated vehicle systems. Reporting to the delivery lead, the candidate will be responsible for developing test cases and plans as well as ensuring adherence to testing methodologies for the purpose of validating a system against its requirements. The candidate will govern, monitor, and execute a test acceptance strategy for the entire system. Co-ordinate and execute the variety of test cases and report detailed error (bug) description and track it through closure in coordination with developers, product and project managers, and will need to contribute proactively for best software testing process. *The candidate will be responsible for the following:* - Create test artifacts and validate them against functional requirements and design documents - Ensure the end-to-end testing requirements, plan and scenarios are covered in the documentation - Participate in the definition, writing and quality checks of testing strategies and test plans - Create test scenarios and test scripts - Validate the test environment and create test data necessary for test execution - Execute positive/negative testing, white/black box testing, stress testing, performance testing, load testing, regression testing - Provide requirements and support the development of an automated testing framework Execute test automation scripts Execute multiple iteration of test scripts - Analyze test results and isolate problems to their lowest common denominator. - Record defects found, track status of defects, and verify resolution. - Maintain communication, collaborating with Development Engineers to comprehend and execute in-depth test plans to test software. Qualification Required: - 5+ years’ experience in software Development, Testing & Quality Assurance. - Degree with Computer Science or related field.
