Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Naperville IL
Duration : 12+ Months Description OVERVIEW OF POSITION: The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering system requirements for various projects and working with end users as well as developers to ensure the business needs are met by the solutions provided by IT. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collecting and analyzing business requirements for various projects and transferring knowledge to the development team (40%). • Preparing accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides and functional specifications documents (10%). • Communicating effectively with users and developers to deliver functional requirments like screen, interface and GUI designs. • Document the acquired results of analysis and workflows as well as obtaining appropriate sign off. • Managing change requests related to the working project. • Designing and running tests for the developed systems and compiling results. • Perform other work-related duties as assigned. • Maintain regular and punctual attendance. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year college degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business analyst. Strong knowledge of internal systems design and program flows. Analytical and troubleshooting skills in systems research. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work with multiple departments. Ability to communicate in an effective manner with other technical team members and interface directly with system users. Ability to work effectively and independently, in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple projects at once, with stringent deadlines. Time management and prioritization skills are essential to handling this position.
