Hello, *Title : AIX Admin* *Location: Onsite to Dubuque, IA or Columbia, MO* *Duration 6 months.* *Interview Mode : Phone hire only* *Need USC/GC/EAD-GC only* The work is going to be transformation work so strong skills with project skills are required. *AIX Admin* Knowledge and proficiency with AIX & VIO including HMC management of AIX & VIO LPAR creation, profile modification, deletion, DLPAR resource allocation, implementing AIX technology levels/service packs, VIOS fix packs, server & disk firmware, device microcode, & HMC code upgrades - experience with Power Systems 5, 6 & 7 - experience with resolving complex server outages or performance issues (ex. SAP perf issues, latency issues, etc.) and performing system optimization, kernel debugging, monitoring, performance tuning, incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis - experience with provisioning of SVC virtualized storage to all Power VM LPARs, managing SVC call home events & alerts, - experience with patching preferably using IEM - experience with IBM processes surrounding server builds/decomms (SCoA/D) and other IBM processes such as problem and change management - high level of scripting skills to automate tasks (ex.
