Experience with virtualization technologies, cloud, and server and storage technologies. Ability to lead and influence; Experience preparing and delivering presentations to IT leadership and business managers Experience in hardware capacity planning, hardware configurations and performance management Ability to work on complex, highly visible, and politically sensitive projects Ability to build, organize, lead requirement gathering sessions and documentation Ability to establish quality objectives and develop quality deliverables *Highly Desired:* *Local to Seattle, Washington* Experience/knowledge of Oracle Engineered systems/Oracle Database Appliance, Oracle VM and VMWare. *Scope of Work* Client requires a highly skilled Oracle E-Business Suite Infrastructure Architect to perform an assessment of existing performance demands and recommend a go-forward hardware architecture solution that best meets our needs. The assessment should consider options across a broad technology spectrum, including virtualization, availability, scalability, consolidation (of servers), implications of licensing, security, and management. Since Oracle licenses are tied to the number of CPU cores and our EBS environment has a variety of licensed technology products, some options, such as virtualization, may be cost prohibitive from a licensing perspective; therefore, Oracle Engineered Systems and Database Appliance (ODA) hardware should be included in the options evaluated. The architect will need to consider costs as part of the evaluation and recommendation.
