ability to designate and delegate work to leads and ensure project test

• Requires ability to mentor staff, develop performance/development plans,
and conduct performance reviews for staff

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

*BACKGROUND *



Client is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Tester Manager with 10+
years of strong testing experience with a minimum of 4+ years of direct
line staff management. *In this role, the test manger will be responsible
for working with Business Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers,
Software Developers, and other Biomedical and IT project team members.*



The resource will be responsible for the oversight and leadership
associated with Test Engineering for assigned Biomedical projects. He/she
will ensure the completeness, effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and
consistency of all testing including system, integration, performance, and
acceptance level testing. The resource will assess requirements for
testability and participate in risk assessment meetings in order to assist
in the development of risk mitigations. The resource will utilize the risk
mitigations to determine the appropriate test strategy to validate software
and configuration changes. The resource will manage the development of test
plans, test cases and procedures and lead issue resolution meeting. The
resource will utilize the risk mitigations to determine the appropriate
risk based test strategies to validate software and configuration changes.
The resource will develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
utilized by Test Engineering. The resource will also be responsible for
providing timely and appropriate responses to audit and inspection
requests.



The ideal candidate will have *experience testing Commercial Off the Shelf
(COTS) products *and has been involved throughout the entire life cycle of
high complexity projects including, but not limited to: risk assessment and
configuration and software change impact analysis, requirements
development, testing, and implementation following a formal software
development lifecycle and adhering to standard operating procedures.
Experience in the participation of audits and or inspections is also
desirable.



*Selected candidate will: *

• Collaborate with business SMEs, Requirements analysts, application
developers and other teams and to develop appropriate risk based test
strategies, plans, and cases.

• Actively participate in Regulatory Risk assessment meetings to develop
appropriate risk mitigations.

• Actively participate in change impact assessments in order to develop
appropriate functional and regression test scenarios.

• Work with Project team to define testing tasks and schedules

• Translate business requirements and functional designs into test cases.

• Collaborate with support teams to ensure complex test issues are resolved
in a timely manner.

• Develop high quality test deliverable on time and within the constraints
defined for the project.

• Build and or maintain a high performing team with clearly defined
performance goals
