*Position: **Oracle DBA developer**,*

*Location: **San Ramon, CA** (Local candidates only)*

*Duration: **6 Months*

*In-Person interview required*

*Need Consultant’s Visa copy if H1, EAD or GC*



*Key Responsibilities*

•          Responsible for database maintenance, monitoring, and tuning
activities primarily for Oracle and SQL Server.

•          Work with architects and developers to design SQL queries for
new development

•          Well versed with database design and SQL code development

•          Review existing database schema and come up with recommendations

•          Provide emergency and urgent support as required by the business
and/or application owner to ensure availability and integrity of the
application and data

•          Work with the application owners, on an as requested basis, to
plan for and provide guidance on database hardware and software upgrade
planning

•          Maintain and audit database level security

•          Evaluate, test, and deploy new database patches and upgrades

•          Configure and maintain database administration tools for
monitoring performance and change management

•          Engineering point contact person for all database related
activities



*Required Qualifications*

•          BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
experience

•          Oracle and  Microsoft SQL Server Database experience

•          Experience in high-volume and large database environments desired

•          Strong SQL/PLSQL skills required

•          Ability to learn and support new applications

•          Well versed with development and maintenance of cloud based
databases

•          Knowledge of programming languages like Java, .Net etc.
