Previous management experience desired. * *Prefer local/Regional candidates only* *Job Description: * v A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or relevant medical/technical degree required; Business, health care, or related area v 7 years relevant experience v Experience leading cross functional teams and managing projects; Leadership in coaching and managing staff v Experience in financial modeling, proforma development, value analysis, and other financial management v Progressively responsible experience with specialized expertise in healthcare operations or consulting v The role of Manager, Performance Partner within PPP is to take a coordination and oversight role in all aspects of various projects including creation of strategies and deliverables as well as client interaction and relationship management. v In addition, performs more advanced data research, management and analysis, prepares and makes presentations to communicate results, and reviews final work plans. Will also serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas and on projects, and drives all aspects of each initiative including identifying issues, forming hypotheses, planning and conducting interviews & analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations and helping to implement change. v Candidate must have Clinical Documentation or Coding expertise. Previous management experience desired. v Update: Certifications preferred are from AHIMA (http://www.ahima.org/) or ACDIS (http://www.hcpro.com/acdis/) - The two certifications are CCDS or CDIP. v Looking for minimum of 2 years as CDI specialist v Remote based position, 20 – 30% travel (expenses are reimbursed). v Provide support from remote office, managing clinical auditors who work on as needed/as required basis; analyze and do quality control of audits; produce PowerPoint and spreadsheets for presentation. v ICD10 trainers preferred. v Previous program management or project management preferred (budgeting, managing staff).
