*Senior VBA Developer * *New York, NY * *6+ Months Contract* *Purpose of role* The successful candidate will develop single purpose applications that will: 1. assist the business in identifying historical transactions which may have been executed outside of certain compliance rules and may have resulted in client harm or regulatory breaches 2. Calculate client harm *Core accountabilities* Working with a team of subject matter experts, business and data analysts, the role holder will engineer, design and code stand alone, single purpose applications that will assist the business in identifying historical transactions which may have been executed outside of certain compliance rules and may have resulted in client harm or regulatory breaches; and will then calculate the client harm where it has occurred. An appropriate level of control is required to ensure the integrity of results and repeatability for audit purposes. The role holder will work with the management team of the Remediation Office to identify, build and maintain those controls. *Key clients (internal and external)* The role holder will work closely with the business leads, project managers, and business and data analysts in the Remediation Office. *Role requirements* The successful candidate will have 5-10+ years of development experience. • Deep and practical understanding of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA); • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including functional customization via VBA and programmable application extensions; • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Access, including functional customization via VBA, programmatic data connectivity and data manipulation; • Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, other enterprise DB software; • Competency as a software engineer; • Experience with structured application development including design and code reviews and source code management using tools such as Clearcase. • Familiarity with the latest innovations in rapid development. • Strong communication and documentation skills; • Ability to do analysis and development of solutions to satisfy business requests, diagnose issues and reduce support overhead; • Deliver RAD technical solutions direct to the business which provide significant improvements to the day to day operation of the department; *Academic and professional qualifications* The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college as well as on-going professional certifications. *Thanks & Regards* *Abdul Wasim* *224-636-8715* *awas...@encore-c.com <awas...@encore-c.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
