Microstrategy Developer
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills • 7+ years of experience in the field of Data warehousing • 5+ years of experience with Microstrategy Architecture, Schema, and Development • 3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring team at Architect level • Good conceptual knowledge and working experience on meta data creation • Extensive experience developing reports, dashboards, and cubes in Microstrategy version 9 • Advanced SQL coding skills • Solid understanding of Data Modeling concepts • Technical team management experience including offshore team members • Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Retail related data warehousing experience a plus • Hands on development in BI reporting and Performance tuning • Experience in Production support process, handling P1 calls effectively and communicating the same with the customer • Define MSTR Solution Architecture and capacity planning • Extend Support in Administration activities on MSTR • Gather business requirements, elicit technical requirements, prepare report specifications • Develop reports, cubes, dashboards, scorecards • Design, develop MSTR reports and integration with enterprise portals, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by the business users, alerts via email, mobiles based on predefined events • Identify and design common functionality Roles and responsibility • At least 7 years of Microstrategy development, Maintenance/Support with at least few years in Retail domain • Responsible for overall Microstrategy architecture design and standards • Lead Microstrategy Architecture Support Team • Guide onsite and offshore MicroStrategy Support Team to ensure standards are met • Work with the application development teams throughout the development life cycle • Evaluate new Business Intelligence technologies, features, and products • Lead or participate in Proof-of-Concept projects • Stay current with emerging industry trends • Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks • Create MSTR Preliminary and Detail design document based on the business requirement • Create/Update MicroStrategy schemas as per the requirements • Create/Update reports, dynamic dashboards as per the requirements • Good written and oral communication • Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions Work Location Columbus, Ohio Duration 8 months *Thanks & Regards* *Hemendra Kumar* Insigma Inc | 1920 Association Drive Suite # 302, Reston, VA 20191 Phone: 703-344-9674 EXT 104 | Email: [email protected] ABOUT THIS E-MAIL: The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
