*Greetings from SONOMA CONSULTING..!* Below is the requirement with our client and kindly review the details as below and if you feel interested in the job position please send me a copy of your updated resume along with your details.. *Job Title : QA Automation Engineer* *Location : NYC, NY* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Essential Role/Responsibilities: * · Help drive the automation test strategy to development teams using agile methodology · Build and write system and feature-based test plans from architectural functional specifications · Execute complex test plans with an understanding of how to build new coverage into the existing Automation test suite · Collaborate with development teams to understand how development changes affect ongoing Automation efforts · Provide test coverage analysis based on automation results · Actively participate in QA related activities (functional and regression testing, UAT, functional and non-functional test automation etc.) · Propose and implement test automation solutions and frameworks · Coordinate workload and activities for QA team (onshore and offshore)Standardize use of QA Tools and processes based on quality assurance standards and best practices · Write and review critical QA documentation *Essential REQUIRED Skills/Experience**: * · 5+ years of proven automation experience developing scripts (java) using Selenium. Selenium Web Driver a must. · Ability to quickly learn new automation applications · Strong background in QA methodologies and best practices · Extensive experience with Agile processes and methodology · 3-4 years of hands on test management experience using tools like Quality Center/Jira · 2 years of hands on experience of performance testing using Load Runner *Extensive experience on the following: * · Requirement gathering, analysis and validation · Analytical, problem solving and quantitative skills · Test management and planning, test effort estimation, test execution and monitoring · Test case/ test scripts/ test data Creation, review, execution and maintenance · Defect Management Defect reporting, tracking and verification · Functional, integration and regression testing of web-based applications · Significant testing of Video/Ads · Knowledge of metrics testing (such as Omniture, Akamai Analytics, Comscore, Neilsen, etc) · Knowledge of authorization/authentication verification · Knowledge of brand implementations of a user experience. · Experience of working in onsite-offshore model in an Agile environment · Ability to prioritize tasks to best meets departmental and organizational goals · Ability to collaborate effectively with different project teams to achieve QA goals · Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills *Emphasis is on the following soft skills: * · Must be self-motivated: work independently with little to no direction from supervisors; demonstrate strong problem solving abilities, and look at obstacles as opportunities for improvement, research and growth · Proactive approach to work, ability to remember instructions and new guidelines, and able to focus on tasks as well as being a flexible resource · Must have good command of the English language and grammar skills, both written and verbal. *Essential Education/Certifications:* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant work history in field.
