BI Developer with SSIS SSTRA and TQSL experience that is currently in the
SFO bay area because client is not interested in anyone that is out of state



This position serves as an enterprise-wide integration architect who knows
how to get, massage and analyze massive amounts of data as efficiently and
as quickly as possible. You will work with all user groups (executive,
sales, business planning, US and International operations) to define
requirements, design architectures and implement usable data and
analysis/reporting solutions.





WMS process enhancements and administration

Operational Planning and Financial reporting

Business Planning Tool enhancements

China WIP and process enhancements

ERP Migration

OLAP tool selection and implementation

Demand forecasting tool selection and implementation





*RESPONSIBILITIES*



·         EAI & ETL

o   Develop, maintain and enhance all core SSIS integration interfaces

o   Evaluate existing and new toolsets to implement best solutions

·         Business Intelligence

o   Maintain and enhance current SSRS reporting environment

o   Develop, maintain and enhance BI database

o   Establish common BI repository for data analytics and reporting

o   Perform various ad-hoc analysis in support of business needs across all
functional business groups

·         Database

o   Build, maintain, enhance and upgrade all databases and system objects

o   SQL server expert (DBA-like), be the go to person for assistance

o   Write and interpret complex T-SQL queries for standard as well as
ad-hoc data mining

o   Performance and optimization minded

o   OLAP & BI data architectures

·         Reporting & Analytics Subject Areas

o   Inventory and operations

o   Warehouse and supply chain productivity

o   Forecasting, Finance, Sales and Margin

·         Communication

o   Must be able to clearly communicate with all user groups to define
reporting needs

o   Must be able to clearly articulate analytics back to respective user
groups and work with these groups to improve overall operational processes



* REQUIRED SKILLS OR EDUCATION *



·         Very strong Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later

·         Experience with AS400/DB2 a plus

·         OLAP & BI architectures and topologies

·         SSIS or similar EAI toolset

·         T-SQL expert, data warehousing, replication, archive & purge

·         MS ACCESS, EXCEL/MS QUERY and standard MS Office toolset

·         SSRS, Business Objects, Crystal

·         Microsoft Analysis Services a plus

·         Informatica, COGNOS experience is recommended

·         Strong analytics and problem solving skills

·         Get it, got it, solve it attitude

·         Must be an excellent communicator (both verbal and written) that
is motivated, resourceful, shows initiative and is driven to deliver
customer and enterprise solutions

·         Must be a team player and be able to work with an international
team

·         Must be able to work in a high pressure environment and have
strong organizational skills

·         BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
