*Job Title: Senior Automation QA with Ruby and Chef* *Location: Plano, TX * *Duration: 12 Months +* *Job Description:* · Implement automation framework / strategies for data warehouse, Unix, web, and terminal emulators based applications . · Establish and maintain physical, virtual and test automation labs for effective automation execution. · Practice automation development efficiency, maintainability and reusability. · Troubleshoot problems during automation execution/ Hardening testing. . · Prepare user guide manuals and process related documents Implement an automated test infrastructure that will support regression testing and new functionality testing . · Implement test strategies and effective test automation solutions . · Mentor departmental resources on the application of our automation framework, how to test automation and data management tools, and how to leverage against testing needs (Waterfall & Agile processes). · Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand initiatives, gather automation requirements, implement automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions . · Communicate status to key stakeholders and management. · Identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated test solutions that fall within your scope. *General Qualifications:* 1.
