*Greetings from SONOMA CONSULTING..!* Below is the requirement with our client and kindly review the details as below and if you feel interested in the job position please send me a copy of your updated resume along with your details.. *Job Title: Senior Business / Data Analyst with Banking experience* *Location: NYC (Midtown Manhattan)* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *IN THIS POSITION WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR BUSINESS/DATA ANALYST WITH BANKING EXPERIENCE. * The Business Analyst will translate information technology and banking language into clear, concise project design specifications. *Must have strong analytical skills that include: * · Ability to extract information from team members into clear, concise project design specifications · Ability to think analytically, define problems and create solutions · Must be skilled at research and fact finding in combination with an extensive understanding of general business methods and organizational operations *Must have strong communication skills that include: * · Ability to interact with internal and customers to interpret project goals · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Demonstrated soft skills, including experience in group presentation and meeting facilitation *QUALIFICATIONS: * · BS degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field required · Must have at least 5+ years of business analyst experience · Experience gathering business requirements documentation for complex projects · Strong experience with Microsoft Office, Visio and MS Project required · Candidate must be able to work and think outside the box in order to solve complex data issues; show initiative and can work independently and deliver quality work in a project environment · Candidate must have keen investigative questioning skills, demonstrates critical analysis skills and detail oriented to eliminate all data ambiguity · Candidate MUST have an intermediate understanding of SQL and relational databases and must have knowledge and ability to write SQL queries · Financial Services experience necessary including understanding of business operations, processes, organization, business rules, requirements, data, applications and the infrastructure · Candidate should have a working knowledge of banking including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, business operations, banking processes, banking organization and banking terminology *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Elicit, analyze and document client's business needs and requirements · Responsible for developing business requirements, test scripts, mapping documentation, and serves as a liaison between the business end users and development to ensure the clients business needs are met · Responsible for supporting project team, by conducting detailed analysis and in-depth portfolio analysis.
