In this role, the candidate will perform software development in the Passenger Processing group working under the direction of a project lead. The candidate will work on our common use systems. They will be required to understand a set of software requirement document and then implement those requirements within the product. They must be comfortable working within an established architecture and framework. They will also need to have the ability to follow established software implementation patterns, listen well and follow directions. They should be highly analytical and knowledgeable in current technologies with strong problem solving skills. *A successful candidate should have demonstrable capabilities in the following areas:* • General programming best practices • Experience using the C# programming language • Multi-threading applications • Socket programming • Asynchronous processing of events • Web Services • XML and XSD formats, rules and usages • SQL Server database and the Hibernate ORM • Eclipse IDE and WTP Dynamic Web Project Framework *The following capabilities would be a plus for a candidate:* • Experience with Java • WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) • WCF (Windows Communications Framework) • SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) A proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio for documentation purposes is needed.
