Location: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: 6+ Months Job Roles and Responsibilities: • Define Performance Test requirements by working with key business and IT users and project stakeholders • Identify and document Key performance test scenarios, test strategy and performance test plan • Advise Business and QA Manager on the setup of Test environment, Data and perform the configuration of Performance testing tools • Identify and receive approval for Performance Test conditions by working with key business and IT users and project stakeholders • Create Performance Test scripts and gain approval from key business and IT users and project stakeholders, utilize latest scripting techniques including data parameterization and correlation • Ability to create Scenarios for establishing performance benchmarks between Integrated applications (multi-tier Integration) • Arrange performance test execution test cycles and schedule timeframes with key business and IT resources to monitor, witness and support the performance test results • Analyze results and publish meaningful, pragmatic performance test metrics and results (including defects) for action by the application and infrastructure owners for remediation and repair • Coordinate with Core Application Development, Business Unit, Database, Middleware, and Operations teams to identify performance improvement areas, and promote resolution of issues as a result of the testing process Required Skills and Experience: • Strong experience in Performance/Load/Stress testing, preferably using Visual Studio 2010/2013 & Visual Studio Online* (VSO), knowledge of SQL Server and Microsoft Test Foundation Server for source code control • Install, configure, and implement performance testing tools (Visual Studio 2010/2013 & VSO) in a web /cloud or N-Tiered application environment for software applications and systems • SQL Scripting and Database Knowledge Good To Have Skills: • Testing and functional experience with Supply Chain/ ERP/ e-commerce domains • Experience with Microsoft Test Foundation Server • Experience with Retail/CPG Industry verticals • Large scale integration projects involving multi-tier applications Arjun Mallik- Sr Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
