*Hello,* *Title : SSRS Reporting Specialist* *Location : Burbank, CA* *Expected start date is 10/19/2015* *Need Local Candidates only* The primary role of the candidate will be: • The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for working with the Global Business Solutions and WBSF Finance teams to create and implement all requested Galaxy Ticketing and Retail reports *Responsibilities:* - The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for working with the Global Business Solutions and WBSF Finance teams to create and implement all requested Galaxy Ticketing and Retail reports. The reports will be written using SSRS, and displayed via the established SSRS Reporting Portal. The data for the reports is stored in Microsoft SQL Server in separate databases, and will be pulled into the SSRS Reporting Portal for reporting purposes. - The Reporting Specialist will manage reporting deliverables through the MIS project lifecycle, including but not limited to the following: leading design sessions, reviewing business scenarios for testing, reviewing and test plans and ensuring the appropriate end user acceptance testing is obtained and finally, ensuring the required stabilization plan for the solution is in place. - The Reporting Specialist will work with the Galaxy Application Support Teams to create, modify and automate the ETL processes that pull information from the source Galaxy application database into SSRS Portal, as necessary. - The Reporting Specialist will also be required to create dynamic SQL queries to retrieve the data based on user input / requirements. - The Reporting Specialist will draft functional design requirements and specifications based on business requirement inputs - The Reporting Specialist will perform impact analysis for new business processes and modifications of existing business processes to reporting requirements, including impacts to the revenue and financial posting processes and requirements of the business. - The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for the report design, SQL ETL process, report creation in SSRS, and working with Galaxy Application Support teams to implement the reports into the SSRS Portal. - Develop and trouble shoot User Reporting Issues - Provide quality assurance review of reporting deliverables after implementation to ensure all are operating as designed or recommend additional enhancements - Assist with functional unit testing of developed reporting objects - Develop business scenarios for testing, and reviews Test Plans with a focus on Reporting, Regression and User Acceptance testing - Understand, at a detailed level, the key processes of Galaxy Ticketing and Retail application, which is the source system for the majority of the SSRS reports. - Understand, at a detailed level, the existing ETL processes that pull data from the source Galaxy database to the SSRS reporting database. - Understand, at a high level, the financial posting processes for the WBSF Tour Ticketing and Retail business and financial reporting requirements. *Specific Deliverables:* - The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for working with the Global Business Solutions and WBSF Finance teams to create and implement all requested Galaxy Ticketing and Retail reports.
