Thanks.!!! *Job Title: 1171181: Senior Java-J2EE Web Application Developers* *Location: Herndon VA* *Duration:12 months* Description The client seeks senior Java-J2EE Web application developers for a development project in Herndon, VA. Note: Resource must be onsite in Herndon, VA. No remote work. Required Skills: • Must have 5+ years’ developing in Java/J2EE • Experience with Oracle, including SQL, PL/SQL, writing queries, and performance tuning • Experience with Web development technologies including Spring, Struts, XML, WebSphere, SOAP, RESTful, Hibernate • Experience with all aspects of developing web interfaces including design, implementation, interface with other applications, reporting, and interaction across three-tier architecture • Proven analytical skills and ability to gather and translate client requirements into technical solutions from complex data sources • Experience with the complete system life cycle using the Agile Scrum Methodology phases from project initiation, analysis and requirements, design, coding, testing and implementation • Strong communication and documentation ability to technical, client, and end-user audiences. Preferred Skills: • Able to adhere to client development standards and SOX compliance • Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical • Proven ability to develop and maintain system documentation • Ability to work independently with minimal direction • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Additional Provisions • Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. • Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process. • If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance. • All candidates must be a US Citizen, have permanent residence status (Green Card), or a H1B - Visa. • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
