Mandatory Technical Skills Strong understanding of Splunk architecture, components (indexer, forwarder, search head) Ability to write regex to perform field extractions at search time Expertise in creating and customizing Splunk applications, searches and dashboards Knowledge of app creation, user and role access permissions Optimize searches Assisting SOC analysts with development of custom searches and content Develop, implement, and document configuration standards, policies, and procedures for operating, managing, and ensuring the security of the Splunk infrastructure Support Splunk integration with Tableau Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for setting up the ingestion of various dataflows to include preprocessing data into a useable format Responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and upgrading Splunk Understanding of configuration files, precedence and working Experience with Splunk UI/GUI development and operations roles Experience working in a software engineering and/or operations environment Troubleshoot Splunk server and forwarder problems and issues Monitor the Splunk infrastructure for capacity planning, scalability, and optimization Experience with scripting language, such as shell, JavaScript, Python, Perl, Groovy, Ruby etc. Expert understanding in data analytics Desirable Functional Skills Splunk Development Total Experience Required 6 to 8 Years Work Location San Jose, CA Duration 6 + Months *Thanks,* *Sudhir Dubey* United Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
